General Administrator - Registration
Employer: York Region Soccer Association
Salary: commensurate with experience
Reports to: YRSA Executive Director
Overall Responsibility:
Assist and provide administrative support to the Executive Director
in
the day to day operation of the York Region Soccer Association
Key Responsibilities:
• Answer telephone and email inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
• Process and validate all player books
• Process and validate various permits: playing out, travel, TRP, deregistration, etc.
• Invoice Clubs for processing fees as per above permits/player books
• Update and maintain coaching certification listings
• Update YRSA website as required
• Co-ordinate, schedule and administer discipline hearings as required
• General daily office duties (photocopying, faxes, mail, etc)
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• University degree in Sport Administration, Business Administration, etc or working towards
the completion of a degree
• Strong sense of customer service
• Excellent organizational skills
• Knowledge with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and website software
Special Requirements:
• Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, versatile environment
• Ability to work non-traditional hours (weekends, evenings as required)
• Ability to work flexible hours
