	YRSA Technical Director - Mirco Schroff The York Region Soccer Association is pleased to announce the appointment of Mirco Schroff as our new Technical Director commencing June 3rd, 2013. Previously the Technical Director of the Whitby Iroquois Soccer Club for the past 4 years, Mirco has achieved great success in the implementation of LTPD and coaching development. Mirco is a member of the OSA Technical Advisory Committee (TAC), OSA Learning Facilitator, OSA Provincial B and Pre-B Evaluator. In addition to his 10+ years of extensive coaching experience, Mirco was also an avid player for 20+ years in Germany, culminating as a semi-professional player with Ludwigsburg (Germany) in 2007. He also has a B.A. in Business Administration having worked in the financial industry. As the YRSA Technical Director, Micro is responsible for the promotion and development of soccer at all levels within our district. Please join us in welcoming Micro Schroff in his new position of Technical Director for the York Region Soccer Association.

OSA Technical Consultation Group

The York Region Soccer Association's Technical Consultation Group is a combination of OSA, YRSA and Club Technical Staff who have ongoing formal and informal meetings and consultations with each other to display a leadership role within their club and to guide the development of the game of soccer in York Region and in Ontario.

The York Region Soccer Association is very fortunate to have some of the very best technical minds from Ontario and Canada working with our member clubs. These Technical Directors and Club Head Coaches have a two-fold responsibility: to display a leadership role within their club and to guide the district and the province. It is the objective of the York Region Soccer Association to be recognized as a provincial and national leader in coaching and developing players.

This goal will be achieved if all clubs agree to share best practices, resources and information. The YRSA is mandated to develop the game of soccer in York Region. This is made possible with ongoing formal and informal dialogue and consultation of the member club technical staff. Regular meetings are organised in order to discuss and come to agreement on agenda items.
